| well well well...
so xanga is really pretty dumb... they wont let me upload any more pictures this month so i wont be able to put any of my pics from Mexico up... kind of depressing cause i really wanted you guys to see some of those... and some of them its probably better that youll didnt...
so i got a new guitar yesterday... haha... yes i am obsessed... thank you very much... but really its all for a good cause... i bought it take with me to NY this summer so i dont have to take my Takamine cause i really dont trust airlines... especially with my guitar... but i really like this new one a whole lot... good for playing a lot of slap acoustic... just my style then... i would a put a picture of it up but im pretty sure we've already covered those bases earlier in this post...
so maddie is going to Greece this summer... which is truly a God thing cause shes really want to try to serve God through missions ever since we got back from Mexico... so now Jody, Maddie, and I are all going to get the chance to be a part of a huge picture that God is trying to paint... even though we are going to be so far apart, we will still all be changed in different ways and yet still grow closer to God and closer to each other through this experience...
the NY playlist is starting to be put together as of today...
im going to do a Bible study on U2 next semester... pretty excited about that...
Nance's birthday is Sunday... but im not going to put what i got him up on here cause im not even going to take the chance of him seeing it on here... haha... its a secret... but i can promise you this... its going to be good...
im about to go for my 5th cup of coffee for the day... impressive huh?... i thought so...
well TNT is about to start so ill catch up with you guys in a couple of days...

| mexico... WOW... incredible time... why cant i just move there now and help out forever?
God really taught me some real good stuf while gone... He let me in on a little secret of His, and that is that im going to serve as missionary whenever i get out of college... a huge step... but im so excited...
now all i have to do is prepare for New York this summer...
so many new things in my life that i would have never expected to come this quick...
school is almost out... so that means i have to start scheduling for next year... Spanish classes here i come so i can learn to go serve again next year... haha...
pics to come soon from Mexico...

so ive been thinking a whole lot lately about my attitude and how others view us when were either around or someplace else... and i have often heard it said that "well, you shouldn't care what others think of you"...
but im going to go ahead and say that last phrase is just a rediculous excuse to do whatever we will or please... our reputation is sometimes the only Jesus that some people will see in the world around them... we have to be on the tip of our toes about how our attitude and actions reflect back to the lives around us...
watch for judgement orientated thinking... dont be bitter... dont scorn... dont condemn... dont put on false pretenses... dont believe and forget to care...
remember to laugh... have joy... love... be there for the long talks...
remember to see God in the little situations around you everyday... and dont just ask for them and forget Him... remember that He created them for you and that we should return the thanks and praise...
take time to take in the sun... take time to listen to the wind... take time to reflect... go to the river and just think... a little thinking never hurt anyone...
but most of all... be who God wanted you to be... nothing more, nothing less... and find joy in knowing that He finds joy in you...
see ya in a week... | | |
| Here is revelation bright as the evening star: Jesus comes for sinners, for those as outcast as tax collectors and for those caught up in squalid choices and failed drams. He comes for corporate executives, street people, superstars, farmers, hookers, addicts, IRS agents, AIDS victims, and even used-car salesmen. Jesus not only talks with these people but dines with them - fully aware that His table fellowship with sinners will raise the eyebrows of religious bureaucrats who hold up the robes and insignia of their authority to justify their condemnation of the the truth and their rejection of the gospel of grace... | | |
